I’m honored to be friends with people like Hailey & Jin. I met them years ago through my dear friend Ellen and we hit it off immediately. They love to laugh and have fun with each other which made this session so very easy to shoot – not to mention they are a gorgeous couple & brought their sweet little dog Kaiser along too! They have been together 8 years and I’m so happy they have decided to make it official this November. I can’t wait to witness their union, and be part of their wedding day.
You already know that my Niece Sarah is engaged, but did you know that I actually have THREE GORGEOUS NIECES? The oldest (Lindsay) is my age and has been married for what seems like ages, but guess what – my middle Niece Macee is also engaged!! Yes, there are going to be two fabulous family weddings this year and I’m so excited I can hardly stand it. Macee and Craig have been together for about 6 years and even though he’s a little older than me I’m still going to make him call me ‘Aunt Trish’. (Ya know, just ’cause I can.) They are getting married this summer at the Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch in Colorado and I’m honored to be photographing their wedding. For the first half of the session I suggested we head to South Congress, and in case you don’t know – SoCo is pretty busy and there are people all around. Well, Macee and Craig did an awesome job of acting like they were the only two people on the street. We had a lot of people staring but I think it was because they were trying to figure out if they were famous! I mean, seriously…Macee is simply stunning and Craig is tall and handsome with perfectly chiseled features – I would have probably stopped to catch a glimpse too. August can’t get here soon enough!!
Thanks to Jenny DeMarco for being my right (and left) hand again for this session.
This engagement session makes me very VERY happy to blog – because this is my baby Niece Sarah! (Well, she might be all grown up but she’s still my youngest niece…) I was ecstatic to find out that her sweet and handsome boyfriend Nick proposed on New Years day down on the Zilker Hike & Bike trail which is where they had their first date. He’s a gem and I couldn’t be happier to welcome him to the family! They are a planning a winter Austin wedding, which I also get to photograph. Let’s hope I can keep the happy tears at bay that day! It was really hard for me to pick my faves since I’m so biased – I mean how gorgeous is Sarah? And Nick – I didn’t need to add any muscles…I think you do just fine on your own, sir. But I have to say, Capone really makes the photos. He was a natural!! Looking forward to your wedding in December guys!!
Special thanks to my constant Partner-In-Crime Jenny DeMarco for shooting this sessions with me. “You win!”
I’m in love…with Erin and Chris! I only met with them for a few minutes at the Austin Monthly Bridal Show, and hoped I’d hear back from them, and I did! I remembered them immediately when I got Erin’s e-mail since Chris is so tall and Erin is petite – plus she has the most amazing hair and eyes. (Seriously beautiful, right?!) They live in San Marcos and I swear they know everyone there. We ran into at least four people they knew during this session! We had a great time and went to some places special to both of them, including the Coffee Pot on the Square which Erin claims was their first date, but Chris disagrees – so we determined it was a pre-date instead. They are total naturals at this being in love thing, and I couldn’t get enough of them. You can probably tell since I’ve posted so many of my faves – I just couldn’t choose!! So, sorry you have to look at all of these photos of this gorgeous couple.
Congrats you two, and I can’t wait till your wedding in September. It’s going to be legen – wait for it – dary!!
