Macee + Craig | Married!
Craig and Macee have been together eight years, so when we found out he (finally) popped the question – we were thrilled! They vacationed in Bachelors Gulch just outside Avon, CO last year and decided it would be the perfect place for the wedding. Unfortunately, the little chapel they had their hearts set on was unavailable, but I think their second choice of the Skiers Bridge at the Ritz-Carlton was a beautiful alternative! With only family and close friends in attendance, they had a very intimate and heartfelt ceremony overlooking the mountains. Macee’s dad and son walked her down the aisle (it took a minute for them to come outside, and at one point Craig wondered if she had changed her mind…). Craig’s brother officiated the ceremony and his dad was his best man. Macee’s little sister Sarah was her Maid of Honor and her older sister Lindsay read a bible verse and a beautiful poem (Blessing of the Hands) which brought everyone – including me – to tears.
The reception was a lot of fun. I can honestly say it was one of the best dance parties ever – and I’ve been to a lot of weddings! Please note – the woman in black pants at the reception is my mother, and my husband is the one doing the worm…needless to say, things got a little crazy!
Congrats Macee & Craig – I’m so happy for you both, and am glad to have Craig as part of the family!
